The curriculum for teaching IT in higher education is designed to cover a diverse range of topics, including web design, networking, and systems analysis. With a focus on practical skills and real-world applications, the degree courses aim to equip students with the knowledge and expertise (PS8) needed to excel in information technology. The web design module introduces students to the principles of creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. At the same time, the networking modules help guide students to set up and manage computer networks. The systems analysis modules also give students the tools and techniques to analyse and improve business systems using IT solutions. Through a combination of theoretical lectures, hands-on projects, and collaborative learning activities, The curriculum does not aim to develop well-rounded IT professionals, but to provide fundamental knowledge in various areas and provide a pathway into the IT industry.
