Hidden Curriculum

  • Be Punctual as an educator

  • Show you have students' wellbeing in mind (PS13)

  • Be approachable, so students feel they have an understanding figure

  • Dress Appropriately

  • Be Professional at all times, and be be a good role model

  • Safeguarding considerations

  • Fundamental British Values (PS 5)

When designing a curriculum it is important to embed a range of practices and procedures that are subtly implemented. These hidden curriculum areas are designed to help enrich the students with additional skills or actions (Margolis, 2002)
